During the fall of 2001, the idea of forming ZOA was on the minds of Stan Chacko, Sam Thomas, and Binu Scariah. Over a year later, after doing some worship events informally and witnessing an awesome presence of God, the Holy Spirit began to make the idea form into substance. Events started coming in and the band knew that this was something ordained and affirmed by the Holy Spirit, Himself. After about another year, songs started being birthed within the band and ZOA realized that a calling was being placed to put out an album so that the reach of what God was tangibly doing could go further than just shows and worship events. ZOA was introduced to producer Brett Stewart, and immediately started working on the "My Cry" project. After over a year of much prayer, wrestling and refining of songs, My Cry was released in March of 2007. Album is available via iTunes or www.cdbaby.com.
