Linson Daniel Band is humbly dedicated to bringing God glory through skillful musicianship, sound Bible-based lyrics, and authentic cultivation of spiritual and truthful worship in our generation.

 We believe that spiritual worship is not contained in one worship session, but is ultimately a lifestyle connected to bringing about God’s Will on earth with our thoughts, words, and actions duly submitted under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

 We strive to train, educate, illustrate, and encourage our generation to passionately seek out God’s truthful purposes in worship through ongoing intentional partnerships and insightful training seminars and workshops.

 We desire to bring about a change of eternal significance in which songs of worship point to Jesus Christ and not to ourselves; consequently, transforming our character, community, culture, and thereby increasing the population of heaven.

Linson Daniel Band was formed in the Fall of 2000. During a youth convention in Dallas, TX, Linson was asked to put a team together for another worship leader. Approximately half an hour before the service started, the team was informed that the scheduled worship leader would not be able to attend. This predicament forced Linson to sing, play guitar, and lead the team in a time of worship. Since he had never done this before, he was genuinely apprehensive of his capability for such a task. Nonetheless, God works greatly in our weaknesses and inadequacies! That weekend was a beautiful outpouring of God’s presence, and Linson along with his friends were given a word from the Lord that God would use them uniquely for worship. A few months later, Linson Daniel Band was formed and began its ministry together as musicians and more importantly – good friends that loved Jesus.

During their time in college, Linson Daniel Band was used to minister to college students through Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and other para-church organizations. They also help teach the Misfits of Worship workshops/conferences that are held in various parts of the United States. Many of the members of Linson Daniel Band have served on PCNAK worship teams for over six years, and now, eight years later, the band continues to lead worship for camps, conferences, conventions, and various venues.

Through the years, as their ideas for music coalesced and became an original sound incorporating funk, jazz, and rock elements, God began to birth new songs for the band. They wrote approximately six songs in the span of two years and started the recording process. Though the recording process hit many roadblocks, they continued to persevere and believe in God’s calling for their ministry. After much determination and a few studio changes, the worship CD will be released at PCNAK ‘08. Linson Daniel Band is very excited about their upcoming CD, and they are hoping that it will persuade others to write their own music and encourage churches to sing songs written by our own worship leaders. Some of the tracks include “Run To Zion”, “Great Things”, “You Are Lord”, and many more. You will immediately notice their use of driving electric guitars, addictive funk rhythms, and creative bass lines coupled with refreshing brass elements. Linson Daniel Band hopes that these songs will be adopted into the set-lists of church worship teams in order to help edify young people in their respective cities to passionately pursue Jesus in spiritual and truthful worship lifestyles.
