Rev. Dr. John Daniel, Pastor, India Pentecostal Church, Orlando went to be with the Lord on August 20, 2007 after more than 42 years in his Master's ministry. He passed away at a hospital in Alabama on early Monday morning. He was 62 years old. Dr Daniel is survived by his wife Kunjamma and children Grace, Stanly, Stephen and Nancy.

Dr. John Daniel was serving as the pastor of the IPC, Orlando since 2004. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 10:00AM at the IPC Orlando Church. There will be Wake service on Thursday, Friday evening at 6:00 PM.

Dr John Daniel, who was born in 1945 in Kizhakkupuram village (Pathanamthitta Dt.), went into the ministry of the Lord at very young age and worked in various part of Northern India. After pastoring churches in Assam, Pune, Kumbanad in India, he came to USA in 1988 and served as pastor of India Christian Assembly in New York and IPC Hebron in Houston.

He was a remarkable man in many ways. Dr. Daniel received B.A. and M.A. degrees from Mysore University and B.D from Serampore University. He received Doctor of Ministry from Oral Roberts University in 1994. Rev John Daniel was an eminent theologian and eloquent minister of the word of God. He served as Teacher and Registrar of Hebron Bible College, and was the president of PYPA. He was the founder President of IPC Theological Seminary, Kottayam.

Rev. John Daniel was a true leader for the Malayalee Pentecostal Community in New York, Houston, Orlando and throughout USA He served as the General Convener of 16th PCNAK held in Houston, TX as well as the PCNAK Jubilee Conference held in Orlando, FL in July 2007. We lost a leader and an adviser. However it was the will of God to call him to glory. Let us keep the family in prayers.
